It began with loss. But it became a legacy.

In 1982, I was just 12 years old when my Aunt Sarah passed from uterine cancer. At 16, we lost Aunt Betty Jean to Hodgkin’s Disease. Years later, my grandmother and my beloved mother would pass from cancer too. And as if grief hadn’t taken enough, my sister Ruth was fighting for her life, her skin peeling and inflamed from aggressive cancer treatment.

I didn’t know it then, but healing would grow from the cracks of that pain.

At a business conference, I met Debbie, a woman who owns a hibiscus and fruit farm in Malawi, Africa. She invited us to invest—not just in a farm, but in people, in restoration.

We prayed. We researched. We said yes. And from that hibiscus harvest came the oil I would blend, 

by hand, to help my sister’s skin heal.
It worked. And HIS ORGANICS was born.

We believe in plant-based, Spirit-led restoration.
We believe in ethical sourcing and community empowerment.
We believe the body was made to heal—and we just need to get back to the garden.

Every oil, butter, tea, and scrub we make is handcrafted with purpose—from African hibiscus petals to organic herbs.
